Anyone who has walked the stream of Mikrolimni knows that it is a part of Prespa full of lulling sounds and greenery.
A large volume of items, resulting from the moving of a family, was recently dumped into the scarce but clean water. Unfortunately, the owner decided that it was easier to dispose of them all from the bridge over the stream.
It was with great sadness that we discovered the new garbage dump that was created, especially after the stream had been cleaned up by volunteers two years ago, with the collection of about 1 ton of garbage that was in the bed.
On the initiative of the residents of Mikrolimni, a voluntary action is organized to clean the stream once again.
Bags, disposable gloves, galoshes will be provided.
We are counting on those who care for a clean environment!
