This autumn we open the door to art by organizing a theater workshop in our municipal library!
We will form two groups based on the ages. Adults: from 18 to 80 years old
Children’s: from 8 to 15 years old
The workshop will be completed in three meetings, which will take place on Saturdays on selected dates between October the 5th and November the 30th, during library’d operating hours (2-hr workshop between 16:00 – 22:00).
A few words about Maria:
Maria is a graduate of the Department of Fine Arts of Thes/niki with a major in acting. She also graduated from the geology department of Aristotle University and the Communication department of the Univ. West Macedonia.
She has been working as a secondary school teacher for 21 years, but this has not stood in the way of her artistic activities. As a member of theater groups, from her student years until today, she participated in many performances and cultural events as an actor, as a director or as a writer.
In 2019, as part of the Poliprespa program, she lead a workshop for teenagers from Prespa and staged the show “Stories that show us the way” in the courtyard of Prespas’ high school, in the village of Laimos.
Want to join the theater workshop, but you suffer from stage fright?
You can join the workshops as a volunteer to help create costumes and sets or support us in technical issues (sound, lights), organize the show, etc.
This participation form is only for registered users.
